Kočani

Kočani sits in the fertile Kočani Field in the Eastern Region, one of the very few parts of North Macedonia where rice is grown, thanks to the irrigation systems that crisscross the plain. The nearby Kočani Spa, with its thermal mineral waters, has long supplemented the town's agricultural economy with health tourism. It's a quietly productive corner of the country, defined by its fields as much as its town center.
