Kriva Palanka

Kriva Palanka sits in the Northeast Region near North Macedonia's borders with both Serbia and Bulgaria, surrounded by the Osogovo Mountains. Its best-known landmark is the Monastery of St. Joachim of Osogovo, one of the country's most important Orthodox pilgrimage sites, set on a forested hillside just outside town.
