Negotino

Negotino sits on the Vardar River in the Vardar Region, within the same Tikveš wine country that surrounds neighboring Kavadarci, and shares in some of the warmest, sunniest weather in North Macedonia. That climate makes the surrounding hills well suited to vineyards, and wine production remains central to the local economy. It's a smaller, easygoing town defined as much by its vineyards as by its riverside setting.
