Štip

Štip sits on the Bregalnica River in the Eastern Region, overlooked by the Isar hill and the remains of a fortress that has watched over the town since antiquity. For much of the 20th century it was one of the country's leading centers of textile and garment manufacturing, a trade that still shapes its economy today.
