ABOUT THE RESORT

Skiing and history — Pelister and Bitola

The Pelister ski area is located on the mountain of the same name, within Pelister National Park — the oldest national park in Macedonia, established in 1948. With a peak of 2,255 metres, Pelister offers the highest summit of the three ski areas.

What sets Pelister apart is its proximity to Bitola — Macedonia's second-largest city. After a day on the slopes, Bitola offers restaurants, cafés and a historic old bazaar just 20 minutes away.

The ski area is smaller than Mavrovo but offers an authentic atmosphere and good conditions in January and February. Ideal for day trips with a base in Bitola.
